Biography

I’m an acclaimed lifestyle, fashion, and black-and-white fine art photographer based in Southern California. With over 40 years of experience in 35mm, medium, and large format photography, I have a strong foundation in both film and digital processing, having transitioned fully into digital for most of my work.

My fine art photography focuses on landscapes, using large-format film to create internegatives for Palladium and Platinum printing, which I develop myself. My work primarily with 4×5 and 8×10 large-format cameras, favoring a 120-210mm Schneider lens for 4×5 and a 360mm lens for 8×10.

Currently, my main focus is on people, lifestyles, and clothing photography, applying my fine art background to shape my editorial-style approach. I prefer on-location shoots, utilizing a mix of urban environments, natural landscapes, and other settings. I take a hands-on role in styling and creative direction, ensuring a cohesive vision from concept to execution. Additionally, I handle all post-production work myself, maintaining full control over the final aesthetic of my images.
